Things have been a bit hectic at LOUIE Central, but it would have been completely irresponsible if we failed to acknowledge Todd Rundgren’s recent appearance on the NPR Radio program-podcast “Bullseye with Jesse Thorn”, where he discussed “the song that changed his life.”
We’re quite fond of Todd. He’s a brilliant musician that continues to create new music, still delivers powerful performances and has a long history of producing superb records for a lot of other musicians that we love. The LOUIE team was honored to have worked with Todd on a few projects – a P.S.A. for the H.E.A.R. organization and a live concert video in San Francisco (featuring that catchy little ditty “I Hate My Frickin’ ISP”).
Anyways, we are overjoyed that Todd shared some love for the song that is at the cross-hairs of this very website and the subsequent, long-awaited documentary that we hope to unveil one these days.
If you haven’t checked out this podcast yet, you should absolutely do so, as it is indeed a keeper.
