There’s a celebration going in Oregon this Saturday, and it’s a special induction ceremony for an all-new organization. The Oregon Music Hall of Fame (OMHOF) is a new, non-profit organization created to help preserve Oregon’s unique musical heritage. The focus is to recognize and promote the legacy of exceptional Oregon musicians of the past, promote promising new Oregon musicians of today, and to enrich Oregon music education programs in order to train our musicians of tomorrow.
The Kingsmen are going to be there, as well as Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere & the Raiders, Everclear, Mason Williams, and some other musicians. It’s going to be at the Roseland Theater, which is just around the corner from Mark Lindsay’s new Rock and Roll Cafe.
